Meteor showers have always been one of the favorite celestial activities.
The last supermoon of the year will start appearing from the evening of August 11 to the morning of August 12.
In this month, if you go out of the house at night, then definitely look at the sky. People watching the sky in the dark of night can get to see four rare celestial events this month. During this, different views will be seen in the solar system on different dates. These celestial events can be seen from any place without a telescope.
The moon will be closer to the earth, the last supermoon will be seen
The last supermoon of the year will start appearing from the evening of August 11 to the morning of August 12. It is being told that the next supermoon will be visible only in August 2023. The moon will be at its peak on August 11 at 9:36 pm. On this day the distance between the Earth and the Moon will be the shortest. During this time, if the weather is favorable, the moon may appear brighter and bigger. Due to the supermoon, a large range of high and low tides can be seen in the ocean.
Stars will rain in the sky
Meteor showers have always been one of the favorite celestial activities. Anyone can see it without binoculars. By August 24, small pieces of meteorites from the sky will enter the Earth’s atmosphere. During this the sky will appear like a bright star. It will reach its peak by August 11-12. The Moon is just now moving towards becoming a full moon, due to which this event can be seen well. Meteor showers occur when numerous small remnants of comets and asteroids collide in the Earth’s atmosphere. Meteorite fragments enter the atmosphere at speeds of up to 148,000 miles per hour.
Saturn will be visible from Earth
It has been considered extremely rare to see planets in the solar system from Earth, but after the sunset of August 14, the ringed planet Saturn can be seen with the help of binoculars. At night it will look bright with open eyes. This phenomenon occurs when the Earth and Saturn planets come very close to each other. This sight is going to be very special because Saturn is far away from Earth. This event happens once a year. This happens when the Earth comes between the Sun and Saturn.
Cygnus will be visible in the sky
Cygnus will be best seen in August and September this year. According to NASA, Cygnus can be seen in the eastern sky after dark in August. Cygnus is shaped like a “T” or “cross”, and has a star pattern also known as “the Northern Cross”.
