Haryana News: Four workers died tragically after being hit by methane gas in a factory in Bahadurgarh. At the same time, the condition of 2 workers remains critical. The accident happened when the employees were busy cleaning the waste tank in the company. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police and administrative officials reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
The gas kit of the engine is made in the company
According to the information received, Hitesh, a resident of Patel Nagar, Delhi, has a company named Aerofless Ceiling Material Manufacturing in the industrial area located in Rohad village of Bahadurgarh. Engine gas kit is made in this company. In the company itself, many waste tanks are being maintained for cleaning. On Wednesday afternoon, some workers were busy cleaning these tanks. During this time, 6 employees came in the grip of gas leak.
Employees fainted after being hit by gas
The workers fell unconscious after being hit by the gas. In a hurry, the employees have been admitted to Jeevan Jyoti Hospital in Bahadurgarh, in which 4 workers died. While the condition of two still remains critical. The dead include Rajbir, a resident of Kihar in UP, Ajay Kumar, a resident of Madirapur in Nawabganj, Jagatpal, a resident of Shahjahanpur district and Prakash, a resident of Barabanki, while Mayank and Vikas of UP are in critical condition. Both have been admitted to the ICU of the hospital.

After the information, DC Shakti Singh and SP Wasim Akram of Jhajjar district reached the spot and took stock of the situation. At present, industrial safety officials said that the death of the workers was due to methane gas. The factory’s waste tank was not cleaned for a long time. Due to the accumulation of dirt for a long time, methane gas was formed there. Workers are in the grip of this gas and they died. At present, the police is engaged in the investigation of the whole matter. A team has also been formed at the administrative level for investigation. Strictest action will be taken against whoever is found to be negligent in the investigation.
