474 new cases of corona have been reported in India.

New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 474 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in India. With this, the number of people infected so far in the country has increased to 4,46,67,398. The special thing is that these are the lowest daily cases reported after 6 April 2020. On 6 April 2020, 354 new cases were reported. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, with the death of one person due to infection in Gujarat, the death toll due to infection in the country has increased to 5,30,533.

Number of active cases came below 8 thousand

The number of patients under treatment for corona virus infection in India has come down to 7,918, which is 0.02 percent of the total cases. The national rate of recovery of patients has increased to 98.79 percent. A total of 4,41,27,724 people have become infection free in the country so far, while the death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.19 percent. According to the information available on the Ministry’s website, 219.81 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.

Cases had increased very fast in the last 2 years
Let us tell you that on 7th August 2020, the number of people infected with corona in India had crossed 20 lakhs, 30 lakhs on 23rd August 2020 and 40 lakhs on 5th September 2020. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, these cases had crossed one crore in the country. On 4 May 2021, the number of infected had crossed 20 million, on 23 June 2021, 30 million and on 25 January 2022, 40 million.

Bad phase of corona virus has passed!
There was a time when there used to be panic just by hearing the name of Corona, but now slowly normal life has come back on track. Even though the effect of corona virus has decreased in the last few months, but it would be a terrible mistake to consider it completely over. Viruses keep mutating and can take a formidable form at any time. In such a situation, one has to always be alert towards this virus.
