Covid-19 Cases In India: On Saturday, 833 new cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of people infected with corona in the country has increased to 4 crore, 46 lakh, 65 thousand 643. At the same time, the number of active patients has come down to 12,553. Apart from this, 8 more patients died due to corona virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry till 8 am on Saturday, due to the death of eight more patients due to infection, the death toll has increased to 5 lakh 30 thousand 528. Three cases of death due to infection have been reported from Kerala. Apart from this, two patients have died in Maharashtra, one each in Chhattisgarh, Delhi and Karnataka due to Kovid-19 in the last 24 hours.

According to the data, the number of active patients is 0.03 percent of the total cases of infection, while the rate of recovery from Kovid-19 has increased to 98.78 percent. In the last 24 hours, a decrease of 199 has been registered in the number of patients undergoing treatment for Kovid-19. The number of people who have recovered from this disease has increased to 4,41,22,562, while the death rate is 1.19 percent. Under the nationwide Anti-Covid-19 Vaccine Campaign, 219.79 crore doses have been given so far.

On 19 December 2020, these cases had exceeded one crore in the country. Last year, on May 4, the number of infected had crossed 20 million and on June 23, 2021, it crossed 30 million. On January 25 this year, the total cases of infection had crossed four crores.
