Official sources said Shah raised the issue of attacks on minorities and temples in Bangladesh with Khan. Union Home Minister Amit Shah met Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Kan on the sidelines of ‘No Money for Terror’ conference, the home ministry said in a tweet. Both sides discussed issues related to border management and general security.

Khan is here to participate in the third ministerial ‘No Money for Terror’ conference organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs. It is a two day conference. On Friday, 450 delegates from more than 75 countries and international organizations took part in the conference.

Terrorism dangerous, but terror financing more dangerous: Shah

Earlier, addressing the conference, Shah said that terrorism is the most serious threat to global peace and security, but terror financing is even more dangerous. He said that darknet is being used by terrorists to spread radical content. This has seen an increase in the use of cryptocurrencies. Shah said that there is a need to find a solution to the darknet pattern. In the conference, the Union Home Minister targeted the countries without naming them, who want to obstruct the collective resolve to fight terrorism. Shah said, unfortunately there are countries that want to weaken our collective resolve to fight terrorism, want to create obstacles.
