Australia Squad: The Australian cricket team has started its next mission after being out of the T20 World Cup 2022. Cricket Australia has also announced the team for the upcoming two series under this. Australia has to play the home Test series against the West Indies first and then take on England in the ODI series.

For Australia, the two-match Test series against the West Indies is going to be very important. Second-placed Australia in the World Test Championship points table will have to win all their remaining matches to secure their place in the final. Keeping this in mind, the Australian selectors have again included opener Marcus Harris in the team for the series against West Indies.

Harris played his last Test match against England in Sydney earlier this year but was ruled out of the tour of Sri Lanka and Pakistan after that. However, after his recent performance, he got a chance again as David Warner’s partner. Apart from them, there has not been much change in the team and only 13 players who have played in this year’s Ashes have been reposed by the selectors again.

The Australian selectors have also announced the squad for the upcoming ODI series against England. This will be the first time since the retirement of Aaron Finch that fast bowler Pat Cummins will take charge of the team for the first time. Australia has not made any changes in the 14-player squad and only the team playing the Pakistan-Sri Lanka tour will be seen playing. Australia’s chief selector emphasized that their preparations will be keeping in mind the ODI World Cup to be held in India next year.
