New DelhiBengaluru Court has asked to temporarily block the Twitter handle of Congress and Bharat Jodo Yatra. In fact, a complaint was filed against the Congress under the Copyright Act, in which the KGF film makers alleged that the songs of their film were used in the videos made by the Congress for the marketing of Bharat Jodo Yatra.

However, in this matter, the Congress tweeted and said, ‘We have come to know from the media that the Bangalore Court has ordered to block the social media handles of Congress and ‘BJY’. We were not informed about the proceedings, nor were we present in the court, nor have we received a copy of the order. We are taking legal advice. India Jodo Yatra Zindabad!’

What did the court say?

The court says that it was told by the petitioner through the CD that its original version has been used with some minor changes. In such a situation, these videos promote piracy. It was also said in the order that those videos where these songs were used should be removed from the Twitter handle of Congress and Bharat Jodo. Apart from this, the court also ordered to block the Twitter handles of both.

what is the whole matter

In fact, Congress is currently taking out the Bharat Jodo Yatra, for which the songs of MRT Music have been used to promote it. MRT Music has invested huge money to acquire the music rights of KGF 2. In such a situation, MRT Music has alleged that Congress used his music without asking.
