BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has accused the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab of making Punjab poor and indebted. Targeting the Bhagwant Mann government of the state, Chugh said that the Chief Minister is busy in the Gujarat elections, but during this time the condition of Punjab is getting worse.

Criticizing the AAP government, Tarun Chugh said, “The people who talk about making Punjab Rangla Punjab at the time of elections are engaged in making Punjab poor. They used to claim earlier that Punjab would get rid of debt as soon as it came to power.” Will give freedom and give one thousand rupees per month to every woman at home whereas the fact is that ever since this government came to power, Punjab’s debt burden is increasing continuously.

‘Bhagwant government has taken a loan of 25 thousand crores till now’

BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh alleged that after coming to power, the AAP government has taken a loan of Rs 25,000 crore. If this rate of borrowing continues, then the AAP government will further burden Punjab with a debt of Rs 2.5 lakh crore during its five-year tenure.

‘Neither the economy nor the law and order could be maintained by the AAP government’

Chugh said that the Bhagwant Mann government of the Aam Aadmi Party is neither able to handle the economy of the state nor is it able to handle the law and order of the state. He also appealed to the Chief Minister to stop wasteful expenditure, to stop wasteful expenditure on publicity as well as to focus on law and order and economy of Punjab by reducing his visits to election states.
