TMC MPs who have been suspended sushmita dev, Dr. Shantanu Sen and Dola Sen. Apart from these, Shanta Chhetri, Mohammad Abdullah, AA Rahim, L Yadav, VV Shivadasan, Abir Ranjan Biswas, Nadimul Haque have also been suspended. Now 7 MPs of TMC and 6 MPs of DMK have been suspended.
The other suspended MPs are R Vadiraju, S Kalyanasundaram, R Girranjan, NR Elango, M Shanmugam, Damodar Rao Divakonda and P Sandosh Kumar. Earlier, there was a ruckus by the opposition in the Rajya Sabha, on which the Deputy Speaker said, standing in the well of the House, I want to tell the members who raised slogans and clapping that it is against the rules.

After the Question Hour, the proceedings of the House were adjourned till 2 pm for lunch. Earlier, the House was adjourned till 12 noon amid the uproar. Tributes were paid to the soldiers for the supreme sacrifice on ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ as soon as the proceedings of the House began at 11 am. The papers and reports listed for the day were then laid on the table. As soon as Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu started reading the suspension notice, the opposition members started shouting slogans. Amidst this uproar, the Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House till 12 noon.
