BJP On Congress: BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra holds a press conference in Delhi. In the press conference, Patra has targeted the Congress for the statement given by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on women from corruption. He said, PM Modi is working against corruption. There is a campaign going on in the country against corruption. BJP has a slogan of zero tolerance for corruption. So at the same time, the Congress is trying its best to create riots and ruckus by making an excuse of opposing the investigation of the National Herald case.
‘A book by CM Chandrabhanu Gupta is now published’
Regarding the National Herald case, Patra said that this case is from 2013 and in 1960, a book by four-time Uttar Pradesh CM Chandrabhanu Gupta has been published within the Congress. In which he has raised many questions regarding the funding of National Herald.

He said that, as Chandrabhanu Gupta wrote, “This paper is to glorify Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi and there is a mistake in its funding. Taking a jibe at the Congress, Sambit said, this Nehru family was corrupt even then and is still corrupt today. Rahul and Sonia have inherited this.
Sambit Patra condemned Gehlot’s statement
Sambit Patra further condemned Ashok Gehlot’s statement in which he made controversial remarks about rape and women. He said that he has an insensitive attitude towards women.
It is worth noting that Ashok Gehlot, while talking on the rape cases in Rajasthan, had said, ‘Crime is under control here, who does the incidents of rape, does any foreigner come? Most of the incidents are done by the acquaintances of the family, their relatives, are known to the family. They do rape most of the places. CM Gehlot further claimed that more than 56 percent of the crimes against women are false. We have also started action against them.
