Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday appealed to the people of Himachal Pradesh not to waste their votes on the Congress, alleging that if it was in power at the Centre, India’s borders would not have been secure, nor would Article 370 be repealed. Nor would a Ram temple be built in Ayodhya. At election rallies in Kullu, Mandi and Una districts on the last day of campaigning, Adityanath claimed that had the Congress been in power, the country would have missed out on the efficient handling of the Covid crisis by the Narendra Modi-led government and crores of Indians would not have got free vaccines.
CM Yogi gave credit to the Prime Minister
Voting is to be held on November 12 in Himachal Pradesh, where the Congress is trying to return to power. Adityanath asked if the ‘Har Ghar Nal’ scheme would have been implemented in Himachal Pradesh? Would Congress have been able to provide free vaccines and free ration during Kovid? CM Yogi said, “When Congress cannot do all this nor take care of your health nor can provide good educational institute or set up AIIMS or IIT here. So why waste votes on Congress.” Adityanath said the construction work of Ram temple in Ayodhya is more than half done and the 500-year wait will end with the grand temple being ready by the end of the year 2023. He attributed this to the decisive and strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Modi’s sting across the world
He asked the people of Himachal Pradesh to “send the Congress with the same sack-bed as Uttar Pradesh did in the assembly elections earlier this year.” Adityanath asked the people present, “The population of Uttar Pradesh is 25. crore and 403 assembly seats. How many seats does the Congress have out of this?’ The answer came ‘Two.’ He further said that “when a state like Uttar Pradesh tied their sack bed, there should be no place for Congress in Himachal Pradesh also.” is touching. India’s respect is increasing on the global stage and no problem of the world can be solved without its participation.
Himachal is the second home of PM Modi
Adityanath said that India has become the fifth largest economy in the world, overtaking Britain. He lauded Himachal Pradesh as “the land of the brave” as many youth of the state are in the armed forces. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said that earlier the enemies used to carry out terrorist activities on their own volition, but now they know that they will be given a befitting reply. Adityanath said that Prime Minister Modi considers Himachal Pradesh as his second home and Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda is also from this state. Adityanath appealed to the people to bring the BJP back to power. He said that having a “double engine” government has many advantages, it helps in accelerating growth.
