Chhattisgarh News: Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel On the occasion of Lokparva Hareli, the state has started the cow urine procurement scheme. Under the Godhan Nyay Mission scheme, Baghel started this scheme in the Chief Minister’s residence itself. CM Baghel sold 5 liters of cow urine Chandkhuri brought from his own cowshed to a self-help group. For this, he also got an immediate payment of Rs 20 at the rate of Rs 4 per liter. For this, the Chief Minister also registered his name and address in the group’s register, after which Rs 20 was also given after measuring cow urine for 4 liters. By selling the urine of his cowshed, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also became the first seller of his government’s ambitious cow urine procurement scheme.

Let us tell you that Chhattisgarh is the first state where cow urine is being procured in this way. CM Baghel tweeted the video and wrote, “Today on the auspicious occasion of Hareli festival, we have launched the purchase of cow urine in the state. On this occasion, by selling 5 liters of cow urine to Chandkhuri’s Nidhi self-help group, I became the first seller and got an income of Rs 20.

Know, what is the intention of the government behind the scheme

Let us inform that the intention behind this scheme of the government is to carry forward the efforts of organic farming in the state, as well as additional income from selling cow urine to the cattle owners. Along with the receipt of revenue to the government, organic fertilizers will also be produced in the state along with organic pesticides. The government will promote organic farming in the state through procurement of cow dung and urine.

Cow urine will be bought at the rate of Rs 2 a kg of cow dung and Rs 4 a liter.
For the purchase of cow urine, the government has made a cow urine procurement scheme in the Godhan Nyay Yojana being run for two years. Under the very ambitious Gaudhan Nyay Yojana of the Chhattisgarh government, so far cow dung is being bought at the rate of Rs 2 per kg, while cow urine will be purchased at Rs 4 a liter.
