Congress Protest: Congress is protesting across the country including Delhi today on the issue of inflation and unemployment. Congress workers and leaders taking part in this protest today wore black clothes, and those who did not wear black, tied black bands on their arms. Countering this, BJP leader and former Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that it is not very surprising if people with black exploits walk around wearing black clothes.

BJP National Spokesperson, Lok Sabha MP and former Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy has hit out at the Congress for coming to Parliament wearing black clothes and taking out marches, saying that it is not too surprising if people with black exploits walk around wearing black clothes. He further said that they (Congress) apparently want to continue their campaign and want to give the same message by wearing black clothes.

Protests expressed inside the house as well

Let us tell you that, alleging inflation, GST imposed on food items and misuse of ED, Congress leaders and workers on Friday expressed their protest by wearing black clothes. Congress MPs including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi expressed their protest inside the House by wearing black clothes or by tying a black band on the arm.

Police detained Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi, who was marching to Rashtrapati Bhavan, has been taken into custody by the police near Vijay Chowk. They were marching from Parliament House to Rashtrapati Bhavan wearing black clothes along with Congress MPs. The police did not allow these MPs to proceed beyond Vijay Chowk. Rahul Gandhi said on this action that this democracy is being murdered. “We wanted to go to Rashtrapati Bhavan peacefully. All the people in the rally are MPs of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha but we are not being allowed to go. We are here on the issues of inflation and unemployment. Democracy is being murdered.

Priyanka Gandhi is also on dharna near Congress headquarters

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has sat on a dharna along with the party leaders. The march of Priyanka Gandhi and Congress workers has been stopped by the police at the Congress headquarters itself. In protest against this, Priyanka Gandhi has started dharna there along with Congress leaders.
