CWG 2022 India Schedule: India’s performance was excellent on the first day of Commonwealth Games 2022. Many results went in India’s favor on the first day of the games, but hearts were also broken on a few occasions. The biggest setback for India came in the women’s T20 match against Australia. India missed out on winning their first match in Commonwealth Games history even as Harmanpreet Kaur and Renuka Singh came close to victory.

At the same time, the Indian women’s hockey team performed tremendously. They defeated Ghana 5–0 in their first match of the Games. On the other hand, the Indian women’s table tennis team led India to back to back victories against two countries. Indian paddlers led by Manika Batra first beat South Africa 3-0, then beat Fiji by the same margin. Earlier, Indian star boxer Shiva Thapa defeated boxer from Arch Rivals Pakistan. Thapa won this round of 32 match with a clean score of 5-0.
