ATGM Weapon: India on Thursday successfully test-fired indigenously developed ‘Anti Tank Guided Missile’ (ATGM) from a military base in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The Defense Ministry said the missiles hit the targets with precision at two different ranges. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), the manufacturer of the ATGM, and the Indian Army on the successful test-fire of the missile. The ministry said, “DRDO and the Indian Army successfully test-fired an indigenously developed laser-guided anti-tank guided missile through battle tank ‘Arjun’.” The Defense Ministry said, “The missiles fired two different ranges I successfully destroyed them while hitting the targets with precision. The ‘Telemetry’ system has recorded the satisfactory flight performance of the missiles.

DRDO successfully test-fired indigenously built tank destroyer missile last month
Last month, the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and the Indian Army on Tuesday successfully test-fired an indigenously built tank destroyer missile at the KK range in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The statement of the ministry said that the tank destroyer guided missile (ATGM) was successfully test-fired from the Arjun battle tank. In the test, the ATGM hit the target with utmost accuracy and destroyed it. The telemetry system recorded the missile’s satisfactory flight performance. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had congratulated the DRDO and the Indian Army for the successful test-fire of the ATGM.
