Lucknow Police said that a small statue of an elephant in the fountain of Ambedkar Park located at 1090 crossroads of Gomtinagar area has been stolen. Efforts are on to recover the idol by registering a case in this case. According to the statement, a special corps has been deployed to protect the premises where the theft took place. The concerned department is being informed to take action against the employees due to whose negligence this incident happened.
