Encounter in UP: A miscreant was shot and a constable was also injured in an encounter between police and miscreants in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. Both have been admitted to the hospital. At the same time, the police have arrested two miscreants. The matter is of Mandawar police station area of the district. Additional superintendent of police (city) Dr Praveen Ranjan told Bhasha that around 10.45 pm on Saturday night, information was received about suspected miscreants roaming in the police control room, after which the police started the investigation operation. He told that around 12:45 in the police station Mandawar area, when the police tried to stop a car coming from Chandak near the Harihar Nagar police post on Mandawar-Bijnor road, the miscreants in the car started running away while firing at the police.
Two 315 bore pistols and 6 cartridges recovered
Meanwhile, the car got unbalanced and fell into a roadside ditch at Inam Pura turn. The police retaliated and arrested two miscreants. He told that during the encounter, a miscreant Akbar and constable Arun, a resident of Amroha, were shot. Both have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. Ranjan said that apart from the car, two 315 bore pistols and six live cartridges were recovered from the miscreants. He told that the name of the second miscreant who got caught is Usman who is a resident of Hamza Masjid Katghar, Moradabad.
Four cases of robbery registered against the injured crook Akbar
