ICC Rankings: The team of Pakistan and England has reached the final of the T20 World Cup with ups and downs in the Super 12 stage. Both the teams won their respective semi-final matches in a one-sided fashion. While Pakistan defeated New Zealand under the captaincy of Babar Azam, England defeated India under the leadership of Jos Buttler. With both teams now eyeing their second title, both Babar and Butler have a chance to become champion captains for the first time.
Despite becoming champions of Pakistan and England, there is a relief for India. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, may have been out after losing in the semi-finals and the wait for its second title has increased further. But there is no threat to the Indian team’s reign in the ICC rankings.
Current ICC Rankings
