In the 17th G-20 Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the mantra that ‘this is not an era of war’, this mantra was liked by the heads of the world, as well as the gift given by him was appreciated by all. Prime Minister Narendra Modi selected artefacts and traditional items representing the rich heritage of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh for gifting. Presented a painting of miniatures of Kangra to US President Joe Biden. British counterpart Rishi Sunak was gifted a handmade Gujarati cloth Mata ni Pachedi, a form of offering to the Mother Goddess temples.

PM Narendra Modi gifted Pithora to Australian PM Anthony Albanese. Pithora is a tribal folk art made by Rathwa artisans of Chhota Udaipur, Gujarat. These paintings are similar to Aboriginal dot paintings created by the indigenous communities of Australia.
