Its specialty will be that devotees coming from Model Station to Vaishno Devi Yatra at one place will be able to get bus, train, helicopter and other transport services at one place. For this, devotees will not need to go to different places. 900 crores will be spent to develop this model station.

Additional parking stands will also be made for taxis and auto rickshaws at the internal model station. Those who come from Delhi to see Vaishnodevi in ​​Katra, they will also get a lot of convenience. Because the express highway coming from Delhi to Katra will be connected with the Inter Model Station.

The work of building the internal model station has been given to National Highway Logistics Management Limited. An agreement has been signed between Katra Development Authority and Highway Logistics Management Limited (NHLML) for this. In this regard, Katra administration officials say that special instructions have been given by the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha. In this it has been said that the map of the Inter Model Station will be made by world class architects, so that it can become more grand and best.

Recently, approval was given to provide ropeway service for the devotees coming on Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra. In which ropeway is to be constructed from Katra to Ardhkumari. The length of the ropeway to be built between Katra and Ardhkumari will be 1281.20 meters. Its height will be up to a maximum of 590.75 meters.

RFID card for devotees coming for darshan

It is worth mentioning that on behalf of the Shrine Board, arrangements have been made to give Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) cards to the passengers instead of slips for the darshan of the mother. This service has been started from August 1. A new RFID service has been started instead of passenger slip from August 1. That is, if you are planning to go to the mother’s darshan next month, then now you will not need to take passenger slip. The RFID card is fully chipped which will connect with the server.

There will be a control room for this. This card will have complete information along with the picture of the devotees. Before starting the Yatra, the devotee will get the RFID card from the Yatra Registration Center of the Shrine Board. The devotee has to return this card after completing the journey. The most important thing is that this card can be used multiple times like a metro token.
