But Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has proved these sayings wrong and a video of him has surfaced in which he is seen dancing. Talked about taking cooperation from Japan in the field of technology
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Tuesday that cooperation should be taken from Japan in the field of technology in view of the sensitivity of Uttarakhand towards earthquakes and other natural calamities. In an interactive program organized here by FICCI Forum of Parliamentarians in collaboration with the Japanese Embassy, the Chief Minister told the officials that Uttarakhand is a vulnerable state from the point of view of earthquake and other natural calamities and in the direction of getting cooperation from Japan in the field of disaster management and anti-earthquake technology. Efforts should be made.
He also asked the officials to seek cooperation from Japan for the Institute of Disaster Management in Uttarakhand. On this occasion, discussions were also held on increasing partnership between Japan and Uttarakhand on various topics related to the state like tourism, agriculture, horticulture. He said that cooperation of Japan should also be taken in increasing the price of local products of the state.
The Chief Minister said that if someone from Japan wants to come to Uttarakhand for information related to the local cultural heritage or for other types of studies, the state government will provide all possible support to him. The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is a leading state in the field of Yoga, AYUSH, wellness tourism and Japan will be given all necessary cooperation in these areas.
Earlier, the Chief Minister welcomed the Japanese delegation in Japanese. Rajeev Pratap Rudy, Member of Parliament and President, FICCI Forum of Parliamentarians, Kunihiko Kawazu, Deputy Chief of the Embassy of Japan in India and officials of the State Government were present on the occasion.
