Hyderabad Mosque Demolition: In Asaduddin Owaisi’s stronghold Hyderabad, a mosque was demolished by the Municipal Corporation on Tuesday, due to which the controversy is increasing. Protests have intensified there regarding this. A mosque was completely vandalized by the municipal authorities in Shamshabad, on the outskirts of Hyderabad city. Protests have started after the demolition of the mosque. In fact, the Masjid-e-Khwaja Mahmood present in Green Avenue Colony of Shamshabad was demolished by the Municipal Corporation on Tuesday in the presence of heavy police force. The Municipal Corporation had alleged that this mosque was built illegally.

The local Muslim population is now protesting against the demolition of this mosque. The leaders of AIMIM and MTB have been protesting in this matter for the last two days. MTB leader Amjadulla Khan says that the construction of the mosque was started three years ago and for the last two years Friday prayers and five times daily prayers were being offered here. He said that the plot and sale of Green Avenue Colony on 15 acres of land was done only after the permission of the Shamshabad gram panchayat, in which two plots of land of 250 square yards were earmarked for the mosque.

Demolition of mosque after complaint

In this whole matter, the Municipal Corporation says that it demolished the mosque when it got a complaint in this matter. The Municipal Corporation says that the person whose house is behind the mosque, along with some other people had filed a complaint against the mosque in Shamshabad Municipal Corporation, after investigation it was found that the mosque is illegal, so it was demolished. Municipal officials say that it was not our intention to hurt anyone’s sentiments, whatever we did, we did it under the law.

However, now the local leaders of AIMIM are registering their strong protest in this whole matter. They are demanding that the mosque should be rebuilt and action should be taken against the officials who broke the mosque. Seeing the way the leaders of AIMIM are raising this issue, it seems that Asaduddin Owaisi will join it in the coming days.
