ICC Hall of Fame: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has included three veterans in its new list of Hall of Fame. Pakistan’s great spinner Abdul Qadir, former West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul and England’s Charlotte Edwards have got a place in this special list of ICC.

Talking about three great players, Abdul Qadir played 67 Tests and 104 ODIs for more than 13 years for Pakistan. During this, he took a total of 236 wickets in Tests and 132 wickets in ODIs. Qadir inspired generations with his spin bowling, including legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne. Abdul Qadir’s son and currently part of the Pakistan team, Usman Qadir, expressed his gratitude for the honor accorded to his late father.

The other two players who made it to the Hall of Fame include England’s legendary women’s cricketer Charlotte Edwards and West Indies great left-handed batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul. Talking about Edwards’ career, he made many achievements in his name. The former England women’s cricket team captain was the highest run-scorer in both ODIs and T20Is when she retired in 2016.

Charlotte scored 5992 runs in 191 ODIs at an average of 38.16 while in T20Is, her bat scored 2605 runs in 95 matches. Apart from this, he also scored 1676 runs in Tests at an average of 44.10. Under his captaincy, the England team captured three major ICC trophies in 2009 within 6 months.

Chanderpaul’s international career, one of the great West Indies batsmen, was also very good. The left-handed batsman scored 11867 Test runs at an average of 51.37 in his 21-year career. During this, 30 centuries also came with his bat. Apart from this, he also performed brilliantly in ODIs and scored 8778 runs at an average of 41.60.

Let us tell you that 7 legends of India are already included in the ICC Hall of Fame. Vinod Mankad, Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid among Indian players. The names of Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Kapil Dev and Bishan Singh Bedi are registered.
