UP Crime News: A case of gang-rape with a woman of Rath police station area of Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh has come to light after taking her hostage for seven days. According to the police, on the complaint of the victim’s husband, Rath police has started investigation by registering a case against the accused under relevant sections. According to the complaint lodged by the victim’s husband, on August 22, his wife had gone to the market to buy vegetables, when she met Ruby Saini, a resident of the neighborhood and told her to take her to her house and made her drink a cold drink containing intoxicants. was mixed. After this his wife fainted and was taken hostage and raped for seven days, the complaint said.
Police registered a case and started investigation
Rath police station in-charge Inspector (SHO) Vinod Kumar Rai said, “Based on the complaint, the police on Thursday registered an FIR against Ruby, Omkar Saini and an unidentified person under relevant sections of the IPC and started investigation. It is claimed that the woman was recovered from the house of Omkar Saini, a resident of Charkhari village in Mahoba district, on the evening of August 29. However, it was not clear why the victim’s husband did not first inform the police about his missing wife and how he finally rescued his wife from the clutches of the accused. The SHO said that all aspects of the case are being investigated and the victim woman has been sent for medical examination.
