Independence Day: A conspiracy to terrorize Kurukshetra in Haryana has been exposed before Independence Day on August 15. Ambala team of Haryana STF has arrested an accused, from whom about one and a half kg of explosive material has been recovered. A country-made bomb-like object, timer and detonator have also been found from him.

The accused is a resident of Punjab

STF team has arrested Punjab Shamsher Singh with explosives found on GT Road in Shahabad, Kurukshetra. Shamsher Singh is a resident of Tarn Taran district of Punjab. Police said that highly explosive has been used to make this RDX.

Case registered against accused, police will investigate entire network

According to the information, someone else was going to pick up the explosive from here, what would have been done after that, the police would take information from Shamsher Singh during his remand. For this, he will be taken on remand so that the entire network can be searched. A case has been registered against him in police station Shahabad.

In the month of May also, four suspects were arrested in Karnal.

Earlier in May also, four such suspects were arrested, who were residents of Karnal, Haryana. They were taken into custody by the police. During the search of the police, a huge quantity of ammunition boxes were found from them. Along with this, IED bombs were also recovered from them. During this, the police had told that the four suspects are related to the Punjab-based terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). A joint operation was launched by Punjab and Haryana Police to nab them.

Security agencies alert before August 15

Significantly, before the address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the Red Fort on August 15, intelligence agencies have received inputs that terrorists are planning an attack on the Red Fort. After this input, all the security agencies have become alert. The security agencies do not want to take any laxity in the security of the Red Fort in view of the atmosphere of the country and the input of terrorist attack. After which, taking vigilance, the security unit of the Prime Minister took over the command of the security of the Red Fort. A large number of police personnel have been deployed from the unit. On the other hand, anti-aircraft guns are being deployed to shoot down drones and missiles.

Anti aircraft gun will be deployed in security

A senior Delhi Police official said that in view of the inputs of the terror attack, the locations for deployment of anti-aircraft guns have been identified. He told that a total of 8 anti-aircraft guns will be deployed here. Out of which four will be stationed inside the Red Fort and four outside. Another senior police officer said that containers are also being deployed to protect the Red Fort. More than 12 containers are being deployed to strengthen the security of the front side of the Red Fort. A three-storey wall will be made from these containers so that the further movement of the Red Fort remains in the security circle. Apart from this, the route is also being reviewed.
