India China News: For some time, the action of the Uttar Pradesh Police against Chinese citizens living illegally in Noida and surrounding areas has been in the news. Police in Noida have arrested several Chinese nationals for staying in India illegally even after their visas have expired. Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has said that 81 Chinese citizens living in the country in violation of the rules have been given notices to leave India.

Notices given between 2019 to 2021

These notices were given to 81 Chinese nationals during 2019 to 2021, which means that these notices were given to them several months before the recent police action in Noida. Giving information about this in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai said that while 81 Chinese citizens were given notices to leave India during the last two years, 117 people have also been deported from the country. Apart from this, 726 people have been kept in the adverse list for violation of visa conditions and ignoring other rules.

Action is taken against people living illegally
Giving information about this in the Lok Sabha, Rai said that the government is continuously taking action against Chinese citizens and other people living illegally in India. He said that in this episode, 81 Chinese nationals have been served notices to leave India. At the same time, many people have been kept in the check list. Let us tell you that the Government of India has been taking action from time to time on foreign nationals who came to India from time to time for jobs and other work and then even after the expiry of their visas.

Noida Police caught many Chinese citizens
Most foreigners staying illegally in India are found to be violating visa rules and other illegal acts, who are first given notice and then the process of deporting them is initiated. In the last few months alone, the Noida Police had caught many such foreign nationals who were living illegally despite the expiry of their visas. Many of them were also Chinese nationals, who had come to India for jobs and stayed here even after their visas expired.
