IPL 2023: Major changes are being seen before the mini auction to be held for the new season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Ahead of the auction, defending champions Gujarat Titans have traded two of their star players with Kolkata Knight Riders.
According to the information given on the official website of IPL, Hardik Pandya’s team has given New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson and Afghanistan wicket-keeper batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz to KKR.
Ferguson is included in the list of fast bowlers in T20 cricket and is adept at throwing the ball at a constant speed of 150 km / h. He was bought by the Gujarat team with a hefty amount of 10 crores. He took 12 wickets in 13 matches in the first season playing for Gujarat and also took four wickets in an innings during this period. Talking about the young opener Gurbaz, he did not get a chance in any match. The Afghanistan batsman was roped in by Gujarat for his base price of Rs 50 lakh. He was included as a replacement for England’s Jason Roy.
