Jammu-Kashmir News: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday rejected the National Conference’s claim that its president Farooq Abdullah was under house arrest after leading a meeting at the party headquarters here. A police spokesman said, “Fake news is spreading that some leaders of the National Conference and PDP (PDP-Peoples Democratic Party) have been placed under house arrest on Gupkar Road. This news is completely baseless.

“When they had nowhere else to go, the truck arrived”

The police spokesman was reacting to the National Conference and its vice-president Omar Abdullah’s claim that Farooq Abdullah has been placed under house arrest. Let us inform that Farooq Abdullah is an MP from Srinagar seat.
