Jammu-Kashmir News: Terrorists carried out a grenade attack on Thursday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. One migrant laborer died in this attack, while two other laborers were injured. Jammu and Kashmir Police gave this information. The injured laborers have been admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment.
The laborer killed in the grenade attack has been identified as Mohammad Mumtaz, a resident of Sakwa Parsa in Bihar. At the same time, both the injured laborers have been identified as Mohammad Arif and Mohammad Majbool, residents of Rampur in Bihar. The condition of both the workers is stable.
Grenades were thrown at workers who came from outside – Police
Police of Kashmir Zone tweeted, “Terrorists hurled grenades at workers from outside in Gadoora area of Pulwama. One worker was killed, while two others were injured in this terrorist incident. The entire area has been cordoned off at present. ”
Terrorist attack a day before the anniversary of abrogation of 370
Article 370 of the Constitution was abrogated from Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August 2019. This terrorist incident has come to the fore just a day before the anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370. Terrorists have attacked non-Kashmiri laborers working here. Three terrorists caught in Kupwara, ammunition recovered
At the same time, three terrorists have been arrested by the security forces in Kupwara district of Kashmir. Incriminating documents and ammunition were recovered from the possession of the captured terrorists. Police said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the trio were tasked to carry out attacks in the Handwara area of the district so as to cause loss of life and property as well as disturb the peace.
A police spokesman said, “The police, army and CRPF personnel stationed at the check post near Phal Mandi in Handwara stopped the three men, when they tried to run away after seeing the police team, but they were caught.” The two arrested accused were identified as Manzoor Ahmed and Shaukat Ahmed Bhat, he said.
The spokesman said that the age of the third accused arrested is being ascertained, so his identity has not been revealed. On search of the trio, incriminating documents, one pistol and two hand grenades were recovered, he said.
