Amidst outrage over this, Karnataka Minister Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan on Friday lobbied for “encounter-killing” the perpetrators of such incidents. He said that the state government is ready for this. Higher Education, Skill Development, IT-BT Minister Narayan told reporters, “Action will be taken without giving any chance. We are ready for encounter. We have already spoken to our Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and the state government.

Let us tell you that Praveen (BJYM worker) was going home after closing his shop on Tuesday at Nettaru village in Bellare area of ​​Dakshina Kannada district. He was murdered during that time. Minister Narayan said, “Some instigators are testing our patience. The time has come for such an ‘encounter’. Our government will take strict action. We will not give any chance to those doing such activities by forming a special team. We will take steps to save innocent people.”

Police arrested three suspects

Narayan said that no one else should go through the grief that the family of the BJYM worker is going through. Tension prevailed in Dakshina Kannada district after the killing of a BJYM activist, creating resentment among people. Karnataka Police has arrested three suspects in this case out of which two have been identified as Mohammad Zakir and Shafiq. Following public outrage, the Chief Minister today said that the state government has decided to hand over the matter to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
