That ideology has to be revived: Bishnoi

Regarding Congress, Kuldeep Bishnoi said, “Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi’s Congress, their ideology is such that the party has completely deviated. If Congress has to face BJP once again, then that ideology should be revived. Gotta do it.” He said, “I was thinking of joining BJP for a long time, but since I have been associated with Congress for a long time, wanted to give one more chance. But if Congress is in a state of self-destruction, then someone What can you do?”

Bishnoi joined BJP unconditionally: Khattar

Bishnoi joined the BJP in the presence of Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, party general secretary Arun Singh, Rajya Sabha member Anil Baluni and Haryana BJP unit president Om Prakash Dhankhar at the BJP headquarters in the capital Delhi. On this occasion, Khattar while welcoming the Bishnoi couple to BJP said that he was in constant touch with Kuldeep Bishnoi and he supported BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections. CM Khattar claimed that Bishnoi has joined BJP without any condition.

Bishnoi is the son of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal. Khattar said that Bishnoi’s joining BJP will benefit the party. He expressed hope that just as Bishnoi has joined BJP, he will be absorbed in BJP as well. Welcoming him in the BJP family, Dhankhar said that he is a prominent leader of Bishnoi society and BJP will get its benefit in Haryana as well as Rajasthan.

Never had ‘discrimination’ with BJP: Kuldeep Bishnoi

After taking the membership of BJP, Bishnoi said that he and the BJP have been with each other. He said that for three years his Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) had an alliance with the BJP and during this time the alliance broke due to some differences, but he never had any ‘manbhd’ with the BJP. Bishnoi and his father Bhajan Lal formed the Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) in 2007 after Bhupinder Singh Hooda was made the chief minister after the Congress victory in the state in 2005. The HJC later forged an alliance with the BJP and two other parties and contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Haryana together. However, this alliance broke before the assembly elections.

Called PM Modi India’s ‘best’ prime minister

Bishnoi said that he joined the BJP after being influenced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He described Prime Minister Modi as the ‘best’ Prime Minister of India who is working for the progress of the country and the poor. He also lauded Khattar and said that despite being the Chief Minister of Haryana for eight years, he was clean and there was no allegation.

Bishnoi was already angry with the Congress party

Significantly, Bishnoi was already running angry with the Congress party. Earlier this year, he had taken a rebellious stand after he was not appointed as the chief of the Haryana unit of the Congress. After this, Congress removed Bishnoi from all party posts due to ‘cross voting’ in the Rajya Sabha elections held in June. 53-year-old Bishnoi, an MLA from Adampur seat in Haryana’s Hisar district, on Wednesday resigned from the assembly membership. Former Haryana Chief Minister late Bhajan Lal’s younger son Kuldeep Bishnoi is breaking ties with the Congress for the second time. He joined the Congress again about six years ago after parting ways with the party.
