Lucknow University: capital of Uttar Pradesh Lucknow University 26 July 2022 has become a memorable day for Lucknow University has got an A++ rating in the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) evaluation. Its results have been released on Tuesday. The special thing is that Lucknow University is the first university in the state to get this rating in the NAAC assessment. Earlier recently Madan Mohan Malaviya Technical University got A grade in evaluation. Congratulations have been pouring in on this success of Lucknow University. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Congratulates Lucknow University for being accorded ‘A Plus Plus’ rating by NAAC.

The first university in the state to get A++ rating in NAAC evaluation

In a tweet on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said, “Lucknow University, which is scaling new heights under the guidance of Governor and Chancellor Mrs. Anandiben Patel, has been awarded A++ University Ranking by NAAC India.” He has said in the same tweet, “Congratulations to all on becoming the first state university of the state to get this ranking.”

Expressing happiness on this occasion, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel congratulated the university family and the people of the state. He said that it is definitely a matter of pride for the university to get ‘A++’ category in NAAC assessment, as NAAC assesses the overall systems along with teaching work in higher education institutions in India.

NAAC team inspected from 21 to 23 July
Let us inform that the team of NAAC had inspected Lucknow University from July 21 to 23 and the rating was released on Monday. Lucknow University Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Rai described it as the result of the collective efforts and preparations of the teachers and non-teaching staff of the University. Lucknow University had obtained B grade in NAAC in 2014, which ended in 2019. After this the university could not apply for it for two years due to Kovid and other reasons.

NAAC is an autonomous institution established in the year 1994 under the University Grants Commission. Its objective is to evaluate the quality of education and related practices in higher educational institutions.
