People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) Naxalites set on fire a JCB machine and a tractor engaged in power grid construction work in Kolebira police station area of ​​Simdega district on Wednesday midnight. Not only this, firing was also done during this period. Due to this kind of rampage by the militants, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the area.

Simdega Superintendent of Police Saurabh said that the incident happened around 11.30 pm on Wednesday night. He told that Naxalites poured petrol and set fire to tractor and JCB machine at the construction site near Kolebira Harijan Colony in Navatoli Panchayat of Kolebira police station area. He said that after getting the information, the police reached the spot in the morning and started investigating the matter.

Sub-inspector Suman Pandey, posted at Kolebira police station, told that the JCB machine belongs to ‘Braj Power Private Limited Company’ doing grid construction work and the tractor belongs to Pradeep Kumar Sahu, a resident of Kolebira Navatoli. Guards Sunil Kumar Yadav and Ramlal Lohra, posted for the security of the construction site at night, told that two militants set the tractor and JCB on fire by sprinkling petrol. He said that after carrying out the incident, the militants also fired in the air.
