Mehbooba Mufti: Voting is going on in all 68 assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh today. Voters are casting their votes fiercely to choose the government in the state. Meanwhile, a big statement of PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti has come to the fore. He accused the Election Commission and said that now it has become a branch of BJP. Along with this, Mehbooba fiercely attacked the BJP regarding Kashmiri Pandits.
PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti said, “The Election Commission of India has now become a branch of the BJP. The Election Commission remains silent when BJP campaigns in Himachal Pradesh on the basis of religious propaganda. The Election Commission is no longer independent as before. The Election Commission has conducted the elections at the behest of the BJP.
‘The present government is there to disrupt everything’
Mehbooba said, “The present government is here to disrupt everything. Kashmiri Pandits have been demanding for a long time to shift to Jammu till the situation in Kashmir gets better, but the government stops their income, ration. BJP Kashmiris Uses the struggle of Pandits to get votes.”
Significantly, in Himachal Pradesh, voting has started from 8 am in 68 assembly seats. A total of 412 candidates are in the fray this time for these assembly seats. Voting will continue till 5 pm. The counting of votes will take place on 8 December 2022. At present, BJP was in power, while this time both AAP and Congress are claiming to form their respective government.
