Talking about Uttar Pradesh, in view of the tussle between Akhilesh Yadav and Om Prakash Rajbhar, it was being speculated that BJP may contest Rajbhar’s son in one of these seats, but the party chose its own cadre for this by-election. It was considered appropriate to bet on the leader itself. Let us tell you that the political journey of Dharmendra Singh Sainthwar, who belongs to Gorakhpur, started with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and he has also taken over the important responsibility of the party’s regional president. On the other hand, Nirmala Paswan, who belongs to Kaushambi, is the regional vice president of the party and is considered a big leader of the Scheduled Castes.
