UP News: Yogi government is taking swift action against mafia in UP. This time the Yogi government has taken action against the mafia and the relatives of former Mau MLA Mukhtar Ansari. The Mau Police of UP has declared Mukhtar Ansari’s wife Afsa Ansari, MLA son Abbas Ansari and brother-in-law as absconders. This action has been taken because the UP Police had raided many places to arrest recently became MLA Abbas Ansari and his mother Afsa Ansari, but both could not be traced.
Let us tell you that despite the non-bailable warrant issued by the court, these people are out of the grip of the police. That’s why SP Mau Avinash Pandey has taken this action. Police of three police stations of Mau have raided four places including Mukhtar’s ancestral residence of Ghazipur for arrest and notices have also been pasted. Yet Mukhtar’s family is absconding, defying the court’s order and dodging the police.

UP Police is looking for Abbas Ansari, the MLA son of mafia don Mukhtar Ansari. To find Abbas Ansari, UP Police has conducted raids from Mau, Ghazipur, Lucknow to Delhi. A case is registered against Abbas in the Mahanagar Kotwali of Lucknow. A case has been registered against him for wrongly transferring arms license to Delhi. The court has ordered the police to produce Abbas Ansari by July 27.
Non-bailable warrant issued against Abbas Ansari
A case was registered against Abbas Ansari, MLA son of Mukhtar Ansari, in Lucknow’s Mahanagar Kotwali in 2019. The police has filed a chargesheet in the case against Abbas, after which the court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Abbas. For the arrest of Bahubali former MLA Mukhtar Ansari’s wife Afsa and MLA son Abbas in separate cases, the Mau district police had raided several places in Ghazipur on Monday, but they did not find any of them.
Attachment of property acquired out of crime
Police Officer (City) Dhananjay Mishra said that Mau police raided the residences of Abbas and Afsa and their relatives in Yusufpur, Mohammadabad and Ghazipur town of Ghazipur district, though they were nowhere to be found. He said that the government has taken possession of the FCI godown located in Mau by declaring it as a crime acquired property by Mukhtar Ansari. Mukhtar’s wife Afshan, his brother-in-law and another aide have been made accused in the case.
