National Herald Case : Rahul Gandhi’s statement has come to the fore amidst political turmoil over the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) action in the National Herald Case. He said that an attempt is being made to suppress our voice and scare us. Rahul Gandhi said- ‘Narendra Modi and Amit Shah may do anything but we are not afraid. We will stand We are not afraid of Narendra Modi, do whatever we have to do. My job is to protect democracy and maintain goodwill in the country. Due to this the proceedings of the House had to be adjourned.

Big allegation of BJP on Congress

In the National Herald case, BJP has made a big allegation on the Congress. BJP leader Amit Malviya wrote in a tweet that AJL was benefited during the UPA regime. AJL was paid Rs 87 lakh as rent every month. Every month, Rs 60 lakh was paid as rent from the Ministry of External Affairs, while Rs 26 lakh was given to TCS as rent every month.

ED got a big success

ED has got a big success in the National Herald case. During searches in Kolkata and Mumbai, ED has found some suspicious entries as well as clues of hawala transactions. Important documents related to a loan of Rs 50 lakh given to Young India have also been recovered from the office of Dotex Company in Kolkata. According to the information, clues of hawala transactions have been found in the entry book. At present the investigation is going on.

National Herald Office Seal

On the other hand, taking a major action yesterday, the ED sealed the office of National Herald. Along with this, the ED has directed that the premises should not be opened without the permission of the agency. The ED has put a notice on the National Herald’s office not to open the office without prior permission. The ED had searched this office on Tuesday, after which it has been sealed. The ED team had raided here in order to search the documents here.
