Minister Jaiveer said that earlier the margin of victory in Mainpuri was in lakhs but in the last elections this difference had come to thousands, whereas no veteran leader from BJP had come to Mainpuri for campaigning. Jaiveer further said that if Shivpal Yadav comes with BJP then our victory margin will definitely be bigger and even if it does not come in our favor, we will win.
Dimple Yadav to file nomination on Monday
Mainpuri SP district president Alok Shakya said, “Dimple Yadav will file her nomination papers on Monday afternoon.” Let us inform that the voting for the by-election to Mainpuri seat will be held on December 5 and the result will be announced on December 8. The process of filing nominations for this by-election has started and the last date for nominations is November 17.
Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat is a stronghold of SP
Mainpuri seat is considered a traditional seat for the Samajwadi Party. SP candidates have been elected from here since 1996. The seat fell vacant after the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav on October 10.
