No one used to enter the room without Partha Chatterjee’s permission. Arpita says that once every week or 10 days, Partha Chatterjee used to come to her house. In the raid on Wednesday, Rs 27 crore 90 lakh cash was recovered from Arpita Mukherjee’s flat at Belghoria in North 24 Parganas, along with 5 kg of gold was also recovered. Let us tell you that 4 counting machines had to be installed to count the notes received from Arpita’s house. A total of 50 crore cash has been recovered from Arpita’s house in the counting of notes which lasted for about 10 hours. In the first raid of ED, 21 crore cash was found from Arpita’s place. So far, in two raids of ED, so much cash was found from Arpita’s house that 20 boxes were filled with cash notes. So much wealth was found that the entire wealth had to be carried in a truck.

It had bundles of Rs 2000 and Rs 500 notes. It is being told that the notes were kept in bundles of 20-20 lakhs and 50-50 lakhs.
