Pathankot 155 kg drugs seized were being carried hidden in a truck two people arrested

Punjab: Police have seized 155 kg of drugs (Poppy Husk) in Pathankot, Punjab. Superintendent of Police (SP) Harpal Singh said that the police stopped a suspicious truck and searched it. During the search, drugs (Poppy Husk) were recovered in the truck, after which it was confiscated. SP Harpal said that two people have been arrested in the case. He also informed that the case has been registered under NDPS. He said the truck was coming from Madhya Pradesh.

NCB’s action on the growing business of drugs

Recently, the Narcotic Control Bureau of Mumbai took a big action on the growing business of drugs. NCB had seized a huge quantity of drugs here. The Narcotic Control Bureau seized 60 kg MD drugs during the raid. Of the seized drugs, 10 kg were seized from Jamnagar in Gujarat and 50 kg from Mumbai.

60 kg of drugs recovered

Giving information about the case, NCB Deputy DG SK Singh had said, “During an operation, 10 kg MD was recovered in Jamnagar, Gujarat. While 50 kg MD drug has been recovered in Mumbai. In this case. 6 people have been arrested.” He had told that the kingpin of the syndicate from which these drugs have been recovered has been arrested earlier also.

The value of drugs in the international market is estimated at 120 crores

Deputy DG SK Singh had told that the drugs recovered in Mumbai and Jamnagar belong to the same gang. He had told that MD drugs are also known as meow-meow. Let us inform that in this case, NCB had arrested a total of 6 accused. Out of which 1 was caught from Gujarat and 5 from Mumbai. NCB did this joint operation in collaboration with Gujarat unit. The cost of drugs was being said to be 120 crores in the international market.
