PM Modi Birthday: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organize ‘unity in diversity’ festivals in all districts as part of the 15-day long ‘Seva’ campaign to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The campaign will start on September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Modi, and will end on October 2, the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The BJP has constituted an eight-member central committee under its general secretary Arun Singh to oversee the campaign. The campaign will include activities like blood donation camps, awareness programs on water conservation and cleanliness drives.
BJP celebrates PM’s birthday as ‘Seva Diwas’
For the past few years, the Bharatiya Janata Party has been celebrating Prime Minister Modi’s birthday as ‘Seva Diwas’ by organizing welfare activities for a fortnight across the country. Singh has given instructions on various issues of the campaign in a letter to the state unit of the party. According to the letter, BJP workers in the districts will organize “Unity in Diversity” festival and send the message of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” among the people. All state units have been asked to update all activities on the Prime Minister’s ‘NaMo App’ and five best state units will be awarded for organizing this festival.
Welfare facilities will be given in the campaign
The BJP has also issued directions for tree plantation drives, cleanliness drives and awareness campaigns for water conservation, equipment distribution among persons with disabilities, promotion of local products and free health check-up camps. As part of the campaign, BJP workers and common people will be encouraged to use Khadi and local products on October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Big record was made last year on Modi’s birthday
