Rajnikant: Actor Rajinikanth is a famous actor from South Indian films to Bollywood industry. The actor, who has won the hearts of people with strong and brilliant acting, belongs to a Marathi family. He was born in Bangalore. Rajinikanth’s real name is Shivaji Rao Gaywad. His first film was Apoorva Ranggal. The film was directed by Tamil director K. Balachander had directed. The first shot he gave for his first film was to open a gate which became his signature style.

Before becoming an actor, he was a bus conductor

A high-end vanity van was given to Rajinikanth during the shooting of the film Shivaji the Boss (2007) by actor Rajinikanth as the budget of the film was too high. However, he refused to use it and instead, went straight to the makeup room in the studio. He has always amazed people with his simplicity.

Rajinikanth has won important award

Rajinikanth has received many awards. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan (2000) and Padma Vibhushan (2016) by the Government of India. He was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the 67th National Film Awards. His unique styled dialogues, signature style has been the highlight of his films. Even today, his fans celebrate the release of his films no less than a festival.
