Ravindra Jadeja Injury: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was also out of the third ODI against West Indies. He did not find a place in the playing XI even in the last match of the series being played in Port of Spain. Along with this, he was also out of the entire ODI series against West Indies and doubts remain about his playing in the T20 series as well.

The 33-year-old star all-rounder was included in the Indian squad for the ODI series but was ruled out of the first ODI due to injury. After that he could not even play both the last matches. The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) issued an update regarding the selection in Jadeja’s team.

Along with the announcement of the squad for the third ODI, the official tweet made by the BCCI said that Ravindra Jadeja was not available for selection for the third ODI as he is still not 100 percent fit. The medical team is monitoring his fitness and will continue to monitor him further.

Let us tell you that Jadeja was part of Team India on the England tour. He also played in the limited overs series after playing the last Test in Birmingham. He played the third and last ODI against England on 17 July. In this match, he took one wicket for 21 runs as well as remained unbeaten on seven runs in the batting.

In Jadeja’s absence, Axar Patel is a part of the team and is performing brilliantly. In the second ODI, Akshar gave the team a thrilling victory on the basis of his stormy half-century innings. In such a situation, if Jadeja is not fit for the T20 series starting on July 29, then Axar Patel is almost certain to remain in the team.

Talking about the match, in the third ODI, India won the toss and decided to bat first. For him, captain Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed after scoring 58 runs. He shared a century partnership of 113 runs for the first wicket with Shubman Gill. India had made 115 runs in 24 overs for the loss of one wicket when the game was stopped due to rain. Shubman Gill was at the crease with Shreyas Iyer scoring a half-century.
