A strange incident has come to light from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Actually a woman first wrote a suicide note that she is going to end her life with her child. The woman wrote in the suicide note that the police did not take any action on her dowry complaint. This suicide note of the woman went viral on social media. When the letter went viral on the internet, the woman was found alive and was unaware that the police had already filed a chargesheet in the court under the Dowry Prevention Act and other sections of the Indian Penal Code based on the investigation done on her FIR.
Workers saved trying to jump off bridge
According to the police, the photo of the hand-written suicide note went viral on Saturday. The note was addressed to his father in which he wrote that he was depressed as the police did not act on his complaint and by the time the letter reached him (father), he and his child would be dead. A typed message written by a person along with the note also went viral. The note said that due to the laxity of the Gosainganj police, the woman got into that position and was saved by some laborers when she was trying to jump from a bridge in Gosainganj.
What did the police say on this matter?
Senior officials on this whole matter said that the Gosainganj police became alert as soon as they came to know about the viral message. Gosainganj SHO Deepak Pandey said, “We found that she was with her father. She admitted that she had written the note when someone informed her that her dowry case had been dropped. When we told her the truth, He felt sorry.” However, he did not give a clear answer as to how the note went viral.
