Rain alert in these states
According to Skymet Weather, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, parts of Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep are likely to receive light to moderate rain with isolated heavy rains. In Tamil Nadu, there has been a flood like situation after heavy rains. Water has reached people’s homes. According to the Meteorological Department, the Western Disturbance will reach the Western Himalayas from November 13. A low pressure area is very likely to form over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas around November 16.
