UP News: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav While sharing a video of an elephant walking on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, slammed the government on Friday. In this video, an elephant is seen roaming on the middle road. Akhilesh took a jibe at the Yogi government regarding this video. Akhilesh took a jibe and said that it is fortunate that elephant is walking on the expressway built by the SP, but if it had gone on the Bundelkhand Expressway by mistake, it would have been injured.

Sharing the 25-second video, former Chief Minister Yadav tweeted, “It is fortunate that despite the ban, Hathi ji is roaming on the strong Agra-Lucknow Expressway made by SP, somewhere by mistake it would have gone on Bundelkhand Expressway. So the poor man who was hit by quality could not bear their weight…he himself would have been fractured and he was injured. Where is expressway security?
People who came out on the expressway stopped and started taking photos, videos to see the elephant roaming on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway. Whereas, due to the movement of the elephant in this way, there is an atmosphere of fear among the local people.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Avneesh Awasthi said, “The incident happened near Agra. No one was harmed and no one faced any problem.” Awasthi said the elephant came on the expressway as its mahout had stopped on one side to avoid the rain. After this the mahout came and took his elephant. He also said that no action has been taken against the mahout.
