TMC Attacks BJP: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Friday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat over women’s safety. The TMC hit out at the Center over women’s safety, citing the alleged rape allegation against the BJP MLA. TMC’s statement came a day after the BJP accused the Congress of “deliberately sexist insults” on President Draupadi Murmu. Controversy erupted over Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury’s remark of ‘national wife’ for President Draupadi Murmu. The proceedings of both the houses were adjourned for the day on Friday due to the mutual allegations and counter-allegations and uproar between the ruling party and the Congress members on this issue.

Since you are so eager to raise the issues against the humiliation of women, we all will be waiting. See you on Monday at 11 am. If 56 inches can’t come, send two.” He wrote a news story about the police probing allegations of rape and illegal confinement of a woman against Gujarat Rural Development Minister and BJP MLA from Mehmedavad Arjunsinh Chauhan. A major political controversy erupted on Thursday over Choudhary’s ‘national wife’ remark. The BJP launched an all-out attack against the opposition party. Choudhary, on the other hand, clarified that a word had come out of his mouth “by mistake”. He did not intend to insult the President.
