UP News: A stock trader plotted his own kidnapping to escape debt and got himself kidnapped. This case is from Uttar Pradesh. Here a stock market trader got himself kidnapped to avoid repaying a loan of Rs 40 lakh. Shamsi Raza claimed that he was allegedly abducted for ransom on Monday and was rescued by Lucknow Police on Thursday. The investigation, however, proved that the debt-ridden businessman had abducted himself with the help of his two associates Shahid and Mohammad.

Had taken loan from friends and relatives, said this false thing

The CCTV footage shows him having tea with friends and using a car for the kidnapping. DCP East and Crime Prachi Singh said that Shamsi lives with wife Farheen Fatima and two children in Dargah Road area of ​​Saadatganj. Police said that Shamsi had also taken loans from many of his relatives and friends. Due to which he decided to kidnap himself and told his relative that the 40 lakh rupees he had given were spent in paying the ransom.

They were bothering to repay the loan, so hatched a conspiracy to kidnap themselves

Police said he planned to use the money to pay off his debt. During interrogation, Shamsi told the police that people from whom he had taken a loan were harassing him and hence he along with friends Shahid and Mohammad planned his kidnapping. According to the plan, on Monday, Shamsi left without informing his wife and did not return home till late in the night. He had also switched off the phone.

Such a conspiracy was exposed

In the night, Mohammad, narrating the story of Shamsi’s kidnapping, called Farheen and asked him to arrange Rs 40 lakh. Farheen informed the Saadatganj police about the ransom demand. ACP Crime Pankaj Srivastava and ACP Bazarkhala Sunil Sharma said in a joint statement, “The team found CCTV in which Shamsi was seen with friends and also the number of the car. Investigation revealed that the owner of the car is from Shamsi’s colony and is his friend. When the police interrogated him, it came to know that he had given the car to Shahid at the behest of Shamsi. After this the police recovered Shamsi by making a route chart. (Input IANS)
