Accident In Kanpur: In Kanpur, a tractor trolley full of devotees returning after seeing Mother Chandrika Devi overturned uncontrollably. Due to which more than 22 devotees aboard the tractor trolley died while many others were injured in the accident. Most of the dead included women and children. The incident is being told near Gaushala, Saad town of Kortha village. On getting information about the accident, the police reached the spot. With the help of local people, the injured were rescued and sent to the Community Health Center. It is being told that the devotees had gone to visit the temple of Mother Chandrika Devi of Unnao and this accident happened while returning.
CM expressed deep grief over the accident by tweeting
Uttar Pradesh chief Yogi Adityanath expressed deep grief by tweeting about the accident. He tweeted and wrote that the road accident in Kanpur district is very heart-wrenching. The District Magistrate and other senior officers have been directed to reach the spot immediately and conduct relief and rescue operations on a war footing and make arrangements for proper treatment of the injured. The loss of life in this accident is very sad. My condolences are with the bereaved family. Praying to Lord Shri Ram to grant the departed souls a place at his feet and the families of the dead to bear this unfathomable loss. Wishing speedy recovery to the injured.
CM announces compensation to the kin of the deceased
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for the treatment of the injured. The CM has directed all possible help to the injured.

Expressing grief over the tractor-trolley accident in Kanpur, PM Modi wrote – I am distressed by the tractor-trolley accident in Kanpur. My condolences to all those who have lost their loved ones. My prayers are with the injured. The local administration is providing all possible help to the affected.
