UP Lekhpal Exam Fraud: UP STF has arrested a total of 18 people, including candidates, salwars and gang leaders, for fraud in Uttar Pradesh Lekhpal recruitment. Let us inform that today there was a Lekhpal recruitment examination from 10 am to 12 noon at 501 centers in UP. During this, the UP STF came to know that the Salwar gang is active in the Lekhpal examination in Prayagraj. The STF immediately came into action mode regarding this. A total of 18 people have been arrested in this case from different places across the state.
Solvers caught from all over the state
STF has arrested Vijay Kant Patel, Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Sonu Kumar in Prayagraj in the case of Lekhpal recruitment exam fraud. It has been learned that Vijay Kant had taken Rs 70 lakh from 7 candidates in the Lekhpal exam and gave Bluetooth earbuds and Bluetooth devices to all. The STF has also arrested these seven candidates. Apart from this, the UP STF has arrested two solvers from Lucknow and one from Meerut. At the same time, one salwar each has been arrested in Varanasi and Bareilly.
Revealed the way of copying
During the Lekhpal recruitment examination held in the college of Varanasi, the STF on the basis of his inputs nabbed an accused candidate who was taking the examination with an electronic device in his ear and hand. During this, the STF also got enough evidence from the accused. During the interrogation of STF, accused Pushpendra Kumar told that the kingpin of this solver gang is Vijaykant Patel, a resident of Prayagraj. Pushpendra met him on July 30 at Phulpur in Prayagraj, where Vijayakant took two electronic devices to Pushpendra by taking 10 thousand rupees. He said to put one device in the ear and put the SIM card in the other device and tie it with the Karbonn in his hands. Because of the carbon, this device will not be caught even by a metal detector.
